Support for Women and Teens in Tyler, TX

Is your teen worried, irritated, or overwhelmed?

Maybe your life feels overwhelming, or perhaps you are struggling with friendships. You may be struggling with your and your parent’s relationship or simply having problems struggling at school. Perhaps you are feeling confused and isolated.

Whatever it is that you are experiencing, you’re beginning to notice the impact of this in every facet of your life:

  • You feel overwhelmed with your responsibilities at home and at school

  • You are struggling to know where you fit in

  • Struggling to stay focused at home or at school

    Teen Counseling can help

It may feel impossible now, but you can relax again. You can make meaningful friendships. You can connect to your parents again. And I can help you get there.

Teen Counseling helps you do 5 things

  • Help you improve your self-esteem

  • Help you manage your stress better

  • Help you have meaningful relationships and friendships

  • Help you make sense of your emotions

  • Help you develop and explore your values

I’ll help you through this process, tailoring each step to your unique needs and circumstances. My approach to teen counseling comes from a place of curiosity and compassion: believing that you are not the “problem”, but that it’s simply the cycle you’re in that needs fixing.

Stress and Insecurity don’t have to be your story.

I can help you get there.

    FAQ’S

What are anxiety counseling sessions like?

I offer a safe, non-judgmental space for you to explore the current things that are happening in your life and your past. We will explore your values, where you would like to be in your life, and how to get there. I help you move from insecurity to confidence and trust yourself.

How long do I need to be in therapy?

This is different for each individual. I recommend starting off with weekly sessions for at least a month. The sessions are 50 minutes long and we can do them virtually or in person.

How do I know if anxiety counseling will work for me?

I have been trained to treat anxiety. I will tailor our counseling sessions to your needs. Each client is unique in what they need and what will work for them.

    How do I get started?

During our initial contact, I will ask you what is bringing you to counseling. I will ask if you are using insurance or self-pay and then we will find a time that works for you and set your first appointment.
